Prof. SHAO Zongping from Nanjing University of Technology visited Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) at the invitation of the Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials Chemistry and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) on January 10th, 2011. During his stay, Prof. SHAO delivered a seminar report entitled “Advanced electrodes for Lithium-ion batteries” and carried out detailed discussion with the research staff of FJIRSM.

Now Prof. SHAO Zongping is a distinguished professor and a doctoral supervisor with Nanjing University of Technology. For quite a long time, Prof. SHAO has been mainly engaged in researches on new energy materials and technology associated with solid particles, including solid oxide fuel cell, hybrid conductor oxygen permeable membrane, lithium-ion battery. So far Prof. SHAO has published more than 170 research papers on some famous scientific journals including Nature, Agew. Chem., Chem Commun., Electrochem. Commun.. He has submitted a total of 17 items of invention patent applications with a result of 10 authorized ones.
