Prof. LU Cunwei from Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Fukuoka, Japan, visited Quanzhou Institute of Equipment Manufacturing (QIEM), Haixi Institutes during the period of March 1st to 18th, 2016. While staying at QIEM, Prof. LU delivered a seminar report entitled “Practical 3-D Shape Measurement Using Optimal Intensity-Modulated Projection and Intensity-Phase Analysis Techniques”, and carried out detailed discussion with the research staff at QIEM.

Prof. LU is now a full-time professor at the Dept. of Electronics and Information, Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Japan. His research interests include Three-dimensional Image Measurement, Image Analysis, Variable Structure Control System and Application, Practical Computer Control System. He was awarded as visiting professor of Haixi Institutes, CAS in 2015.
