Prof. ZHANG Shicheng from Mercedes-Benz,Germany, visited Quanzhou Institute of Equipment Manufacturing (QIEM) during the period of September 19-22, 2018. While staying at QIEM, Prof. ZHANG delivered a lecture entitled ”The Lightweight Design Technologies of Battery System in EV.”,and carried out detailed discussion with the researchers at QIEM.

Prof. ZHANG Shicheng received his bachelor's degree and Ph.D at Harbin Institute of Technology. He has already published more than 50 research papers and holds several patents. His research interests mainly focus on the lightweight design technologies of battery system in EV, the CAE technologies dedicated for lightweight design, the welding technologies, vehicle durability and passive safety development.
