Prof. Remi CHAUVIN from the University of Toulouse, France, visited Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) on January 10th, 2020. During his stay at FJIRSM, Prof. Remi CHAUVIN delivered a speech entitled “Rich-Poor Balance in Ternary P->C->Metal and C->P->Metal Dative Bonding: Rationale and Serendipity”, and carried out detailed discussion with the research staff at FJIRSM. 

Prof Remi CHAUVIN is Full Professor at the University of Toulouse since 1998. Prof. Remi CHAUVIN received his Ph. D. from Paris XI University, Orsay, France (1988). He was a post-doctoral fellow with Prof. B. Sharpless (M.I.T., Cambridge, MA, EU) from 1989 to 1990. He did another postdoc with Prof. A. Vasella (Zürich Universit？t, Switzerland) in 1990. He was a Research Associate at National Center for Scientific Research. Remi CHAUVIN's Research includes organic chemistry for physics, organic chemistry for biology, coordination chemistry & catalysis and theoretical chemistry. He has received numerous awards including Medal of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
