Dr. Adrien Lugari from the National Institute for Health and Medical Research, Marseille, France, visited Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) at the invitation of the State Key Laboratory of Structural Chemistry on September 1st, 2011. During his stay, he gave a lecture entitled “Protein-proteininteractions inhibition using small molecule drug candidates: Application examples targeting viral proteins” and carried out detailed discussion with the research staff of FJIRSM.

Dr. Adrien Lugari received his PhD from the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), Marseille, France, and now is working as a postdoc at the National Institute for Health and Medical Research, Marseille, France. Dr. Adrien Lugari’s research efforts have been focusing on protein-protein interactions and drug design. So far he has published some research papers in some internationally well-known journals including the Journal of Biological Chemistry, Biochemical Journal.
