Prof. Wenbin Lin from the University of Chicago, USA, visited Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) at the invitation of the State Key Laboratory of Structural Chemistry on September 5th, 2014. While staying at FJIRSM, Prof. Lin delivered a seminar report entitled “Molecular Materials for Sustainability and Human Health”, and carried out detailed discussion with the research staff at FJIRSM.

Prof. Wenbin Lin got his B.S from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1988 and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA in 1994. He has ever been to Northwestern University, USA as an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow. Prof.Lin’s research interests include materials and catalytic chemistry, renewable energy and nanomedicine etc.So far, Prof. Wenbin Lin has got many academic awards including NSF Career Award in 1999, Beckman Young Investigator Award in 2000,  and “Top Ten Chemist”  based on per Article Citations in 1999-2009.
