Dr. SHEN Zhongrong from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) visited Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) at the invitation of the State Key Laboratory of Structural Chemistry on October 29th, 2014. While staying at FJIRSM, Dr. SHEN delivered a seminar report entitled “Controlled Growth of Nanocrystals and Preparation of Green Devices”, and carried out detailed discussion with the research staff at FJIRSM.

Dr. SHEN Zhongrong is now an assistant professor at JAIST. For quite a long time Dr. SHEN has been engaged in the researches on low-cost green nanomaterials and relevant devices. His research interests include electronic devices, fuel cells, solar energy cells and lithium batteries and other related materials and technology. So far he has published 24 SCI research papers in some well-known scientific journals including J. Am. Chem. Soc. and Chem. Comm., and he has obtained eight patents in Japan and the United States of America.
