While staying at FJIRSM, Prof. Nicolas Mercier delivered a seminar report entitled “Bipyridinium based Materials: from highly luminescent bismuth complexes to photo- and thermochromic salts and Porous Coordination Polymers”, and carried out detailed discussion with the research staff at FJIRSM. Prof. Nicolas Mercier received his PGD degree from the University of Le Mans (France) with Prof. M. Leblanc and G. Férey. Then he joined the University of Angers, and began his professional career in 2006. His research interests are metal halide based organic-inorganic hybrid including semiconductive perovskite hybrids, NLO materials, ferroelectric hybrids, photochromic hybrids.
