Prof. Toshiaki Suhara Visits FJIRSM |

Prof. Toshiaki Suhara, from Osaka University, Japan, visited Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) at the invitation of the Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials Chemistry and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) on August 31st, 2015. While staying at FJIRSM, Prof. Toshiaki Suhara delivered a seminar report entitled “Research on Waveguide Nonlinear-Optic Devices in Osaka University”, and carried out detailed discussion with the research staff at FJIRSM. At present, Prof. Toshiaki Suhara is a full-time professor at the School of Electronic Engineering, Osaka University, Japan. He is also a fellow of IEEE and IEICE. His research interests include integrated optics, non-linear optics, semi-conductive laser devices etc. In his seminar report, Prof. Toshiaki Suhara mainly introduced his research focused on non-linear optical devices and their related applications.
