Dr. Jae-ha Myung from the Korea Institute of Energy Research, was invited to give a speech titled “Innovative Approach for Nano-structured Electrode of Solid Oxide Cell” at Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter(FJIRSM) on December 8th, 2016. The intensive study of solid oxide electrolysis cells was introduced in his speech: mechanism of metal deposition on oxide surface and evaluation of the electrocatalytic properties at high temperature; and very active discussion was conducted with related researchers at FJIRSM.

Dr. Jae-ha Myung obtained his PhD from the Graduate School of Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. He is a full Professor at the Energy Conversion Laboratory, Korea Institute of Energy Research. His research interests encompass solid oxide fuel cells, solid oxide electrolysers, electrocatalysis and nano-sized functional materials. Dr. Jae-ha Myung has published about 22 research papers on some important international scientific journals, including Nature, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Journal of Power Sources, etc.
