The 5th Asian Conference on Coordination Chemistry (ACCC5) will be held on July 12?16, 2015 at The University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong. Please see http://www.chemistry.hku.hk/accc5/. This biennial conference builds on the success of the first four conferences held in Okazaki (Japan, 2007), Nanjing (China, 2009), New Delhi (India, 2011) and Jeju (Korea, 2013). The Asian Conference on Coordination Chemistry (ACCC) is the largest and most reputable regional conference in Asia focusing on the area of coordination chemistry. The aims of the conference are to provide a forum for inorganic and coordination chemists from all over the world to gather together and present their most recent research findings, and to offer a stimulating atmosphere to discuss and exchange ideas on the most frontier research topics in inorganic and coordination chemistry. The conference also serves to showcase the fast development of coordination chemistry in Asia. The conference is devoted to the recent advances and new trends in coordination chemistry including electronic structures and bonding of metal complexes, supramolecular chemistry, organometallic chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, catalysis, small molecule activation, functional coordination compounds for materials science, biomedical science and environmental science and energy, as well as other emerging topics in coordination chemistry. Hong Kong is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city located at the heart of Asia. Due to its unique location and history, Hong Kong is a melting pot of eastern and western cultures where the old and the new live side by side. World-class, easy and efficient regional travel infrastructure has made Hong Kong a highly accessible city.
