DPC is an international conference series held every three years alternately in North America, Europe and Asia with a program focused on theoretical and experimental aspects of excited states dynamics in condensed matter in physics, chemistry and material sciences. The previous three conferences were held in Segovia (Spain), Argonne (USA) and Fuzhou (China) respectively, in 2007, 2010 and 2013. 

The Conference  is organized by the Insitut de Recherche de Chimie Paris (Chimie ParisTech-CNRS), the Laboratoire Aimé Cotton (Paris Sud University-CNRS-ENS Cachan ) and the Institut des NanoSciences de Paris (Université Pierre et Marie Curie-CNRS).
