Prof. ZHOU Tianhua

Prof. Zhou Tianhua 

 

Tianhua Zhou received his Ph.D. degrees in Organic Chemistry from Fuzhou University, Fujian, China. After completing doctor's degree in July 2008, he joined the group of Professor Jiang-Gao Mao as a research associate at Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter Chinese, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since 2012 he moved to the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) as a Research Fellow, Singapore. During April-Oct 2016, He worked as visiting scholar in Emory University to study ultrafast laser spectroscopy. She joined Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter Chinese, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a Full professor in 2017. Our research group focuses on functional materials for photo/electrocatalysis for application in energy conversion and energy storage. To date, he has published over 50 paper in the preer review journals including Angew. Chem. Int. Ed, Energy&Environmental Science, Advanced Functional Materials. ACS Catalysis and so on.  

Research Interests: 

1). Metal/Covalent-organic frameworks for energy conversion and storage 

2). Photo-/Electro-catalysis for CO2 reduction and water splitting 

3). Heterogeneous catalysis for environmental applications.
