Biography
Dr. Zhigang Yin is a professor in Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his Ph.D. degree in materials physics and chemistry from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Then he worked as Research Scholar and Visiting Professor at Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin, Germany as well as a Visiting Scientist at Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society, respectively. He started his academic career in Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, CAS in 2011, and became Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in 2013 and 2016, respectively. He was promoted as a Full Professor in 2018. His research interests focus on optoelectronic materials (i.e., functional oxides, polymers, hybrids and composites), thin-film devices (e.g., solar cells, transistors, photodetectors and sensors), flexible electronics, semiconductor physics, and interface science. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals, 1 book chapter and 2 patents. He is currently serving as Editorial board members of international journals such as Materials International and Current Graphene Science.
