Industrial devices for the annual output of 200 thousand tons of ethylene glycol

Through the painstaking efforts for nearly 30 years, scientific researchers with Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter have succeeded in inventing the key technology for synthesizing ethylene glycol by use of CO, NO, H2, O2 and alcohols at industrial levels, and have established a pilot project with the annual output over 10 thousand tons of ethylene glycol by cooperating with Shanghai New Coal Technology Co.,Ltd. At present, the first set of industrial devices in the world for the annual output of 200 thousand tons of ethylene glycol made from the raw material of brown coal is under construction in Tongliao city, Inner Mongonia Autonomous Region.
