Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (hereinafter referred to as FJIRSM), Chinese Academy of Sciences, is an excellent research institute founded by the famous Chinese scientist, educator and academician Lu Jiaxi in 1960. FJIRSM has long been focusing on the research of original basis, strengthening reform and innovation, and promoting the transfer and transformation of achievements, so as to take a lead in the development of international structural chemistry and optoelectronic crystal materials and sciences. Its establishment of new theories and approaches of function-oriented novel materials. Taking the advantages in structural chemistry and optoelectronic crystal materials, FJIRSM is leading and driving the development of relevant sciences, such as new energy, new material, laser technology, advanced manufacture, power engineering, etc. Meanwhile, FJIRSM devotes major efforts to developing science and technology in economy, state security and livelihood to satisfy national major strategic demands and promote the transfer and transformation of achievements, and also cultivates a score of hi-tech enterprises like CASTECH Inc., Tongliao GEM Chemical Co., Ltd., Fujian Chuangxin Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., and so on. Currently, it boasts national and provincial platforms of research and development, including State Key Laboratory of Structural Chemistry, National Engineering Research Center for Optoelectronic Crystalline Materials, Key Laboratory of Research on Chemistry and Physics of Optoelectronic Material of CAS, Key Laboratory of CTEG and Relevant Technologies of CAS, Fujian Key (Engineering) Laboratory of Nanomaterials, Fujian LED Testing Center, Fujian Engineering Technological Research Center for Laser Engineering & Technology Integration, Fujian Provincial Technological Development Base for Optoelectronic Crystalline Industry, etc.
The construction of Haixi Institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as Haixi Institute), which was jointly founded by Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fujian Provincial People’s Government and Fuzhou Municipal People’s Government, officially started on June 18th, 2010. Taking FJIRSM as its basis and incorporated entity, Haixi Institute establishes such unincorporated research institutes as Haixi Institute of Material Engineering, Haixi Institute of Advanced Manufacture Technology Integration, Haixi Institute of Power Engineering, Haixi Institute of Rare-earth Materials, and Cross-strait Sci-tech Cooperation & Communication Center.

II. Conditions for Recruitment
Besides the above mentioned conditions, the following ones shall also be satisfied:
1. The candidate shall be healthy, hard-working, conscientious and decent, love scientific research work, have stronger enterprising and teamwork spirits;
2. Under the age of 45 years old, the candidate shall have at least 4 years’ working experience in overseas research institutes or hi-tech enterprises;
3. The candidate shall have achieved high-level scientific and technological fruits and have academic standards or performance in relevant research fields.
III. Remuneration
1. Any selected high-level personnel will enjoy the relevant remuneration for high-level personnel as stipulated.
2. No less than RMB2 million will be provided as the supporting fund of scientific researches, offices required for administrative affairs and experiments will also be provided, and assistants for scientific researches will be manned. Quota of graduate enrollment will be considered in first priority. Besides, the preferential policy will also be given to teambuilding, application for major scientific research project and purchase of instrument and equipment.
3. The three-dimensional salary and other benefits in the position of researcher will be enjoyed.
4. Any personnel selected in the Recruitment Program of Global Expert will receive housing and living subsidies as stipulated; any personnel selected in the Recruitment Program of Global Expert for Youth, Fujian Provincial High-level Entrepreneurs will receive housing and living subsidies of RMB 1 million as stipulated; any personnel who is not included in the above programs but meets the standards of high-level personnel set by Haixi Institutes will receive housing and living subsidies of RMB600,000.
5. At the beginning of working in the position, if a house has not yet bought, a house for transition will be tried to provide for accommodation for three years.
6. If the couple has not yet had a job, our Institute will give RMB1,500 per month as living subsidy, but the term for such grant will not exceed three years.
7. We will also help to process the school transfer and enrollment of children.
